We’re Vectone Mobile, the UK’s first full MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). What does that mean? It means we control our own platform. That way, we have the flexibility to offer cheaper local and international call rates and can create our own exclusive offers such as Free Vectone Calls. We’re headquartered in Canary Wharf, London, but the Vectone Mobile name is now right across Europe, connecting over five million customers in ten countries.
It all started in the 90s. Back then, calling overseas was very expensive, so we decided to do something about it. We pioneered low-cost international calling cards and quickly became a much-loved brand amongst ethnic communities. By leading the way in international communication, we’ve been able to stay at the forefront of evolving technology. It’s this knowledge that led to our next big step.
In 2007 we set out on a journey no business had taken before: to become the first full MVNO in the UK. By 2009, our mission was complete. Fast forward to today and we’ve been able to use our powerful platform and 20+ years’ of telecommunication experience to successfully launch in new European territories. Vectone Mobile now connects customers in the UK, Austria, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, France, Portugal, Czech Republic, Serbia and Belgium, with many more countries to follow.
Our list of bundles, features and offers is growing just as rapidly. Our commitment to finding the lowest tariff solutions and adopting new technologies has allowed us to stand out from the crowd with high-value plans and unique features like Landline On Mobile and 2 Countries 1 SIM.
From the 90s to today, the Vectone Mobile offering has certainly changed, but our commitment to the ethnic market is as strong as it always was. We’ll continue to find new ways to help people all across the world connect with their loved ones for less.
